These hints are printed on the label with the cleaning symbols. We recommend
that you use them to keep the garment in fine condition and looking good.
The most common ones are:
Wash separately
Concerns garments that are likely to bleed,
meaning that dyes are washed out each time washed and may
stain other fabrics.
Turn inside out before washing
Rubbing of the garment surface
may leave marks / creases (e.g.: jeans)
Dry flat
Concerns garments which, if hung to dry when wet,
could be deformed by the weight of water, especially sweaters.
Iron on back side
Some materials become shiny or flat when in
contact with the iron (dry wool, velvet, etc.).
